MASON, Ohio (WDTN) -- A child in Ohio is safe after being rescued from a claw machine filled with stuffed animals.
First responders from the Mason, Ohio, police and fire departments were dispatched to the Mason Community Center around 1 p.m. on Monday after a small child was able to get into the machine.
On surveillance footage, a little boy is seen crawling into the prize chute, successfully making his way inside the claw machine, a type of arcade game that uses an arm-like "claw" controlled by a joystick to retrieve prizes, typically stuffed animals and other toys.
Later on the video, the machine is moved into a nearby store, which was then closed as several first responders worked to rescue the child from the game. The boy was eventually freed from the back side of the machine.
Police said the child was unharmed.
